LULLWATER has announced a run with PASSAFIRE that will take the band through the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Northeast with direct support billing. The excursion will allow for the quartet to segue from their current itinerary with RA straight on to this additional leg on March 19th in Tallahassee, FL. A home town show at Cutter’s in Athens, GA (3/15) and a festival appearance in Savannah, GA (River Front Fest / 3/16) will be staged in between to two support excursions.
Singer and guitarist John Strickland offers, “We couldn’t be more excited to be part of these tours. Being able to support two headlining acts, which we are personal fans of, adds a great dynamic to the tours. I also think it says a lot about the diversity of Lullwater’s music and our ability to fit on both bills. Being direct support for Passafire is extremely exciting for us. We are really looking forward to warming up the crowd and catching their set every night.”
For the last several years, the Athens-based quartet has logged countless miles on the highways of the U.S., building an active audience that grows exponentially on an annual basis. The band is exhibiting they are serious about their prior announcement they plan to commit the majority of 2014 to touring, aiming to make 200 or more appearances mixed between headlining and support plays.
Lullwater recently released their self-titled album on their own Dinobird label. Recorded and produced at London Bridge Studios, Seattle WA (Pearl Jam 10, Soundgarden Louder Than Love), the September 17th offering has seen strong sales and critical acclaim from journalists and industry tastemakers. Lullwater is a band that offers the convictions of passion, honesty, drive, and perseverance. Through integrity, diligence and what is nothing more than a pure connection with those they encounter, the band is reaching the heights of developing a national presence.
